Map Illustrations, 2021-2025

This project showcases a series of hand-crafted map illustrations designed to blend artistic expression with geographic accuracy. Each map is thoughtfully composed to highlight the unique character of a location—whether it’s a bustling cityscape, a tranquil island, or a fictional world.

Process:

Research & Concept Development: Studied real-world or imagined terrains, historical maps, and local landmarks for inspiration.

Sketching & Layout: Drafted rough layouts to define composition, flow, and focal points.

Digital Illustration: Used tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to refine line work, apply color, and add detailed icons or textures.

Typography & Finishing Touches: Integrated custom lettering and subtle decorative elements to enhance readability and aesthetic appeal.

Outcome:
The final collection features detailed, expressive maps that invite viewers to explore each landscape through a creative lens. These illustrations have been used for editorial features, travel guides, and personal art prints.
